Tiffany & Co. will create the League of Legends World Championship Trophy

Tiffany & Co. is upping its trophy game. The jeweler announced on Thursday that it will create the League of Legends World Championship trophy and has entered into a multi-year partnership with championship owner LoL Esports.

As part of this partnership, Tiffany is redesigning the League of Legends Summoner Cup.

The new design will be released on August 29. So far, Tiffany has only revealed the trophy's specs: it will weigh 44 pounds and stand 27 inches tall. The cup, like other Tiffany trophies, including those produced for this month's US Open, was crafted by artisans at the jeweler's hollowware workshop in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The League of Legends trophy required more than 277 hours of work.

Tiffany has created esports trophies before, including the League of Legends pro league Silver Dragon Cup.
