France captain Kylian Mbappe has started making decisions regarding his transfer to Real Madrid next summer, according to El Nacional.

The report states that the 24-year-old wants to move up from his usual number 7 and take Luka Modric's number 10 shirt.

The outlet says the France international has informed Real Madrid that he wants the No.10 shirt next summer.

However, he is ready to wait for Modric until he leaves in case the Croatian extends his stay at the club.

Mbappe will be happy with the #9 jersey left vacant since Karim Benzema's departure to Al Ittihad.

However, he has no intention of changing to the number 7 jersey, and this decision has been supported by Adidas.

Real Madrid sponsors are also pushing for Mbappe to take the number 10 shirt, according to the Spanish report.

They want number 9 given to Endrick who will move to the club next summer.

PSG want to extend Mbappe's contract or sell him to Real Madrid this summer.
