UCL: It's worrying, I don't see how you will play for this team - Carragher tells Chelsea star

Former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher has expressed concern over the condition of Christian Pulisic at Chelsea.

The former England star fears the 24-year-old American isn't fit enough for next month's World Cup in Qatar.

The United States international has struggled to find form and hasn't been considered to start a game for the Blues this season despite Thomas Tuchel being sacked as Chelsea boss.

Pulisic was an unused substitute in Chelsea's 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

And speaking on CBS Sports, Carragher was asked what he thought of the American's situation at Stamford Bridge, the former England star said: "Where have we been for two years with him regarding his career at Chelsea.

"But we haven't seen much of him yet. It's the start for Graham Potter but Thomas Tuchel hasn't used him too much. Certainly the new manager [hasn't] in these early games.< /p>

"So I think it's a little worrying for America in terms of the World Cup. It doesn't look like they're at their best.

"I think it's really worrying for him because I just don't see how he's going to get the games."
