Nick Kyrgios 'can't look forward' to Australian Open and vows to retire if he wins

"You have to go to the tennis courts, practice; the lifestyle is pretty vigorous. If that probably happens (winning a Grand Slam), I'd probably take (retirement) to be honest."

The furthest Kyrgios has gone at the Australian Open was in the quarter-finals, almost eight years ago. He says he is already looking beyond the tournament as he can't stand the stress he is facing.

Kyrgios continued, "I'm not even looking forward to before AO, I'm just looking after, I kind of want it to be over. Because I know how stressful it is for me to being in the spotlight. Everything, even my days off are stressful.

"I'll probably play doubles. I'm really waiting for this to be over. There's a little excitement but it's probably 95% stress, 5% excitement to be honest."
