"Look, I think something weird is going on." IFC Films has released the full official trailer for a wacky indie dark comedy film titled Spin Me Round, the latest creation from independent filmmaker Jeff Baena and actress Alison Brie. This premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival earlier this year, and also premiered at this year's Seattle Film Festival. Brie and Baena have already created Joshy, The Little Hours and Horse Girl together - they have one hell of a collaboration going on. Airlifted to an Italian immersion program at her company's expense, what begins as a romantic getaway turns to chaos in this crazy new comedy. The film stars an impressive cast: Alison Brie, Alessandro Nivola, Molly Shannon, Tim Heidecker, Ayden Mayeri, Zach Woods, Ben Sinclair, Fred Armisen and Aubrey Plaza. This seems good! I'm curious what's going on with this guy and all the mystery. Sounds like fun! Bon appetit.

A woman wins an all-expenses-inclusive trip to a company's beautiful "institute" outside of Florence, as well as the chance to meet the wealthy and charismatic restaurant chain owner. She finds a different adventure than she imagined. Spin Me Round is directed by American independent filmmaker Jeff Baena, director of the films Life After Beth, Joshy , The Wee Hours and Horse Girl previously; he also wrote the screenplay for I Heart Huckabees. The screenplay is written by Jeff Baena and Alison Brie. Produced by Jeff Baena, Alison Brie, Mel Eslyn, Chris Parker and Dylan Sellers. This originally premiered at the 2022 SXSW Film Festival earlier this year. IFC Films will release Baena's indie comedy Spin Me Round in select US theaters + on VOD starting August 19, 2022 later this summer. Pull up a chair, eat some pasta! Looks like it will be good?
