Philipp Plein opens a boutique in Miami

Philipp Plein, the German-born designer known for his extravagant runway shows and bold styles, opened a new 1,000 square foot store in Miami, expanding its US fleet to 11 stores, including the Penthouse near the Plaza Hotel in New York which sells V.I.P. products to customers by private appointment.

The Miami boutique, which has been pop-up for two years, is part of the brand's overall strategy to strengthen its retail presence worldwide, with more than 100 stores worldwide for its multiple brands, including Philipp Plein, Plein Sport and Billionaire.

The store, located in the Aventura shopping center, is designed by the architectural firm Locatelli Partners. The store features a large logo and crystals and a color palette that ranges from Marquina Black and Carrara White Marble to Acid Green for carpets and walls.
