Police feared the worst when panicked locals called them to what they believed to be a murder scene - only to find the 'body' was actually a sex doll.

Shocked residents feared a woman had been murdered when they spotted two lifelike legs sticking out of a roadside trash can in Ayutthaya, Thailand on December 4.

Police and paramedics arrived at the scene of the alleged crime and found the members exiting smelly bags.

However, they were relieved to find that they were actually made from hyper-realistic silicone.

The footage shows one of the officers pulling a silicone member out of a white bag.

He also found the right leg wrapped in a pink veil nearby.

Police classified the cases as an "adult doll" that was thrown away.

They think he was only there a few hours.

Officer Chainarong Tang-on said, "A garbage man said he found legs in a trash can. Locals then called us, fearing there was a dead woman on the street.< /p>

"But it looked like a rubber doll had been taken apart and thrown away. We were ready for a whole night's work to find out it was a false alarm."

Police, rescuers and frightened villagers burst out laughing when they realized the 'woman' was just a doll. However, they have yet to find the torso.
