A Question Time audience member quizzed Tory MP Andrew Murrison about what she described as a 13-year "dismal" past under the conservative diet.

The episode, which aired Thursday night and filmed in Bristol, featured Mr Murrison and Labour's shadow attorney general Emily Thornberry, Liberal Democrat MP Helen Morgan, the chief executive of Oxfam Danny Sriskandarajah and The Spectator editor Fraser Nelson.

Audience member Claire Stewart-Hall took aim at Mr Murrison about the Conservative government's record since coming to power in 2010 , later shared in a Twitter clip that has since been viewed more than 6.8 million times.

Claire Stewart-Hall described the last 13 "dismal" years under the Tory Party.

"You've cut social workers, you've cut local services to the bone and then you worry about anti-social behavior. There are no services for young people."

"Use rent control. You want have more houses? Build more houses because you can find the money to build HS2 and drill through the forests.
