A detached cottage dubbed one of Britain's loneliest homes has had its asking price reduced by £50,000 because it's so remote no one bought it.

The property was originally listed for sale by Fisher Hopper agents last summer for £300,000, but due to its unique location it struggled to sell and its asking price was reduced to £250,000.

The cottage needs some 'complete renovation and is somewhat rustic with paint peeling off the walls, signs of damp and holes in the floor.

But it is on the Three Peaks Challenge route as well as the Settle to Carlisle railway, so it might be suitable for trainspotters.
