Robert Downey Jr. praised Chris Hemsworth for 'Avengers: Endgame' improvisation: He hit the 'Sweet Spot'

Chris Hemsworth reached the height of his career thanks to the praise of Robert Downey Jr. during "Avengers: Endgame".

Hemsworth recalls hesitating to improvise an emotional scene as Thor, dealing with post-Thanos loss.

"Yeah, you're always like, 'Is this gonna work,' you know? I mean, I remember that scene [in 'Avengers: Endgame]' where I kind of start to m collapse, introducing the mission to everyone, and talking about my family, and who died, and so on…just little moments like that in your career where everything lines up, and there's been a little improvisation, and so on," Hemsworth recalled during the . "And I think it ended when I said, 'I want a Bloody Mary,' to Downey, and he said to me, "How are you feeling?" I said, "Yeah, I forgot, that's pretty special. /p>

Hemsworth continued, "He says, 'Once in a while, a few times in your career, you have little moments where you hit the bullseye and it's like you're in the right place.' he said, "Oh, enjoy it." And I really appreciated that, because I really felt something special about that moment, but who am I to judge, you know? And so , for the godfather to lean over and say, 'Well done, my son…'”
