Ron's House: Minotaur head and lion found in rented apartment in Birkenhead

Ron Gittins lived in Birkenhead on the Wirral Peninsula in England. A curious and colorful character, he was both well known but also a total mystery to friends, neighbors and even family.

It is only 'after his death in 2019, and relatives were asked to clean up his rented home that the weird and wonderful private world he had created for himself was uncovered.

Now Ron's Place supporters, including singer Jarvis Cocker, are trying to raise money to buy his old apartment and turn it into a space for artists.
