Pro-Moscow sources claimed they managed to 'evacuate' a Storm Shadow missile from the war zone to allow Russian weapons experts to dissect and analyze it.‌

Russian state media war correspondent Andrey Rudenko claimed that Ukrainian forces "sold a Storm Shadow rocket to our [Russian] comrades". But the former head of the Russian Space Agency, Dmitry Rogozin, said the missile was shot down - apparently in a cornfield.

Rogozin said Ukraine shelled the area around the downed missile and sent in troops to prevent Russian forces from securing parts of Storm Shadow. However, he claimed that these efforts were "quickly suppressed", according to TASS News.
