A diver has revealed how to prevent a shark attack in a chilling video that begins with a shark slowly swimming towards a diver.

A viral video posted on TikTok and Reddit explains what to do and what not to do if a swimmer encounters a shark in open water.

The original clip was posted on TikTok by user @mermaid.kayleigh. In it, Kayleigh comments while her friend and dive buddy Andy demonstrates what to do if you come into contact with a shark.
