Fight Against Possibility - How To Unlock

struggleHave you ever felt like you were struggling in one or more areas of your life and you don't don't know how to peel off?

If so, you are not alone.

We all block the flow of energy in our lives in one way or another and what we all know is that when we are "in the zone" life is better.

And when we're not, we feel stuck.

Perhaps you have felt the "flow of life" or been "in the zone" while playing sports or playing an instrument or finding someone you are truly in tune with.

And then there are those times when you feel like you're struggling in the mud, nothing is accomplished and things seem to "go wrong".

Both describe the human condition and…

It's so true that you can have more of those times when you're in the flow rather than when you're stuck in the mud and plodding through life.

We loved listening to one of our teachers this week, Michael Singer, talk about allowing more life to flow through you by letting your thoughts flow without becoming attached to them.

We all have thoughts, some of which we are aware of and some of which we are not. Some we attach meaning to them and some we don't.

And believe it or not, it can be a choice you make.

A person who is used to thinking jealous thoughts will make more sense of thoughts like, "He's not where he says he's going, so he's probably meeting someone" or " She's sitting too close to this guy and that means she wants to be with him."

Those kinds of thoughts get stuck in our minds, just like the flow of life.

In fact, when you repeat your thoughts that are blocking you, you give them even more meaning and make them solid.

The truth is that thoughts come and go and the less energy we attach to them, the more we can truly be present with life when it comes to us - and life will flow so much better.

We have come to realize that if we relax as the thoughts pass by, simply by looking at them, we are able to see the possibilities of life.

Some time ago, Susie realized that she was telling herself and others that she had been congested for several weeks and was having a hard time getting over it.

That thought had become a sticking point for her and when she realized it, she stopped focusing on it and repeating it.

Since then, she feels healthier and has more energy and fluidity.

Blocked thoughts create blockages and this saps your energy…

And what you focus on persists.

Although it is certainly not healthy to push emotions away and try to ignore them…

It IS healthy to notice what you think that creates your emotions and to make the choice whether or not to believe what you think.

So our challenge for you is to take a step back and look at what you are doing with your mental energy and recognize how that can contribute to your feeling of being blocked.

When you do, take a moment and relax and see what happens.
