Taylor Swift is rehearsing for her upcoming tour, but she's still making sure the content is coming! On January 27 at midnight, she released the third music video for the album Midnights, released in October. The video was for the album's opening track, "Lavender Haze", and told the love story sung by Taylor in the poppy song.

The video begins with Taylor lying in bed next to a handsome boyfriend. As she wakes up and dances around in a t-shirt and underwear, she conjures up a cloud of purple haze around the 1970s-style bedroom - complete with a retro turntable and bedside rocking clock. She then crawls through a living room covered in lavender flowers to walk through a tube television into… a galaxy of fish. And while it sounds trippy, that's because it's meant to be - remember, we're in a lavender haze.

The most striking image in the video, and perhaps the one that will speak most to fans of Taylor's striking style, is of the singer submerged in water violet - slicked back hair, deep purple lips and clothes -free body surrounded by lavender petals.
