The 20 most valuable players in the world right now: Mbappe above Haaland, Saks fifth...

Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Barcelona, ​​Real Madrid and PSG are unsurprisingly some of the big clubs with the most valuable players in world football.

But Liverpool's representation is conspicuously absent from the list of Europe's 20 most valuable footballers. Jurgen Klopp's squad currently doesn't include any of the sport's most beloved players - while they'll have to pay a pretty penny to land prime target Jude Bellingham.

Bellingham is valued at 110 million euros. This makes the Borussia Dortmund midfielder the fourth most valuable player in the world right now.

Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Man City's Phil Foden are as popular as fellow England international Bellingham.

Saka has recently broken into the top five after playing a talismanic role in the Gunners' title charge this year - but the striker is nearing the final year of his contract at the Emirates. Negotiations are ongoing and Arsenal are said to be confident in their ability to retain their most valuable asset beyond 2024.

The three players rated as more valuable than the English trio are Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and Vinicius Junior.

Mbappe could have joined Real Madrid on a free transfer last summer but ended up staying at PSG after signing one of the most lucrative deals in football history. But the 24-year-old has only signed a three-year contract with the hometown club, which keeps the question of the transfer circus hanging in the balance.

Haaland only joined City last summer for a fee of €60m and has had a hugely prolific start to life in Manchester. The striker remains under contract at the Etihad until 2027. The links with Real Madrid are not going away, but Florentino Perez should surely break the bank to secure the Norwegian's signature anytime soon.

Los Blancos already have their own young superstar in Vinicius Junior. The 22-year-old Brazilian's value has skyrocketed over the past year following his Champions League heroics, including scoring the winner in last year's final against Liverpool.

Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni and Rodrygo are the other Madrid players rated at €80m or more. Only Manchester City have more representatives in the top 20, with Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva and Rodri alongside Foden and Haaland.

Elsewhere, Barcelona's dynamic duo Gavi and Pedri are valued at €200m together, while Tottenham icon Harry Kane makes the cut at 29 - despite approaching the final year of his contract with his childhood club. De Bruyne is the only player older than Kane rated at €80m or more.

Meanwhile, Chelsea record signings Enzo Fernandez and Marcus Rashford from Manchester United, worth €85m and €80m respectively.
