Tory MPs 'preparing leadership vote before Christmas' to bring Boris Johnson back

Twelve Tory MPs unhappy with party leadership candidates plan to submit letters of censure to the new Prime Minister as early as this week, we learned.

In defiance of widely regarded favorite Liz Truss, MPs plan to submit letters to Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 committee, signaling their intention to challenge the new Prime Minister, according to the Sunday Mirror.

The newspaper reports that scheming MPs want a leadership vote by Christmas to bring Boris Johnson back in charge.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, one MP said: "In the worst of times, [Liz Truss] is the worst possible choice for PM."
