Watch David Cameron meet with Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, on Wednesday, December 6, as part of his first visit to the United States since that he became Foreign Secretary.

As part of his trip, Lord Cameron was to hold a series of bilateral meetings: he was to speak with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, as well as as with Republican and Democratic members of Congress.

According to the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), the former Prime Minister's discussions will focus on support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.

He then adopted his additional national security request, including funding to support Ukraine, earlier on Wednesday.

The US president's administration warned Congress that money for the European country would run out by the end of the year as the Russian invasion continued.

Earlier Wednesday Last week, Mr. Biden's national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said that not passing the additional aid would "make it easier for Putin to win."
