Watch: Terrific Short Doc 'Somebody's Hero' About a Hero in Maine

Somebody's Hero Short Film

"If everyone were self-satisfied, there would be no heroes." This is the story of an unlikely hero, someone who saved another person's life, and how rare and unlikely that is. Somebody's Hero is a short documentary made by a creative agency in Maine called P3. It uses archival footage, interviews and animation recreations to tell how a lonely small-town man helped save people's lives in a trailer fire. "A struggling Otis loner, Maine must face his inner demons to make a life or death decision. This is a study of heroism in its most basic form; how and why are some people, come hell or high water, able to face the ultimate fear and put their lives on the line for a complete stranger?" A very good question. There are also comments about heroism and the fact that it isn't as common as you think. An inspiring true story lovingly told in this terrific short documentary from Maine. Watch below.
