Watch: 'The Final Reckoning' promotional featurette for 'Halloween Ends'

Halloween Ends Featurette

"You came here to kill me, so do it!" We're almost at the end of it all, it's just around the corner. Universal will launch the slasher horror grand finale Halloween Ends in October in a few weeks. The first trailer was released in July and a new promotional feature was unveiled this week to kick off the latest marketing campaign. Is anyone still excited to watch this…or not? They shot this one following last year's Halloween Kills (which had mixed reviews), and it comes out exactly a year later. The Michael Myers and Laurie Strode saga comes to a head in this latest installment in the franchise, set four years after the events of Halloween Kills (read our review of that one). Even after the whole town chased him in the last film, he remains an unstoppable and invincible evil force. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode, joined by Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Rohan Campbell and Kyle Richards, plus Nick Castle and James Jude Courtney credited for playing "The Shape." There isn't much to this featurette, which focuses on Jamie Lee Curtis and his legacy with these movies. I just hope this one is good.

Here is the "Final Reckoning" featurette for Halloween Ends by David Gordon Green, on YouTube:

Four years after the events of last year's Halloween Kills, Laurie lives with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing her memoir. Michael Myers has not been seen since. Laurie, after decades of letting the specter of Michael rule her reality, has decided to free herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham, is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it unleashes a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally face the evil she cannot control, once and for all. all. > Halloween Ends is again directed by acclaimed American filmmaker David Gordon Green, from the films George Washington, All the Real Girls, Snow Angels, Pineapple Express, Your Highness, The Sitter, Prince Avalanche, Joe , Manglehorn, Our Brand Is Crisis, Stronger, and the other two Halloween + < em > Halloween Kills movies previously. The screenplay is written by Chris Bernier, David Gordon Green, Paul Brad Logan and Danny McBride; based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. It is produced by Jason Blum at Blumhouse, along with Malek Akkad and Bill Block. Universal opens DGG's Halloween Ends in theaters exclusively starting October 14, 2022 this fall. Do you look good?
