While many gadgets pass through our desks, at Engadget we also end up buying a lot of things for ourselves throughout the year. In 2022, some of us upgraded our televisions while others invested in new kitchen utensils and desk accessories that increased our productivity. But there's a lot of stuff we've been loving lately that hasn't been posted on the site. Here, our associates look back on the past year, raving about their favorite items they purchased this year.
Nest Hub Max

I received a Nest Hub Max last year for Christmas and over the past 12 months it has probably brought me more joy than any other gadget. By setting up Google Photos to automatically upload photos of my son to an album linked to the Nest Hub, I get a slideshow every day of all the fun times we had. When people say kids grow up fast, they're absolutely right.
