Woman finds out she was raped in her sleep by partner after spotting videos on laptop

A woman was horrified to find that her own boyfriend of two years had repeatedly raped her in her sleep and filmed it.

The woman suspected that her fiancé was seeing other women, so she decided to log into his email account - where she found the twisted videos.

In nine emails, sent between her work and personal accounts, he could be seen committing a series of sexual assaults while she was sleeping soundly.

While some of the videos were brief, lasting only a few seconds, one video was 12 minutes long, a court heard.

It was easy for the victim to identify himself by checking his tattoos.

The couple had been together for about two years and the 34-year-old defendant - who cannot be named for legal reasons - has two children and works as a carpenter.

Appearing in county court in Victoria, Australia, he admitted seven counts of rape and 21 other counts of sexual assault without his victim's knowledge.
