A woman has been singled out online for feeding her dog leftover meal her boyfriend made for her. She had been dating her partner for four months and decided to prepare some of the leftover meat and vegetables from their homemade roast dinner to give to her pooch, Shelby.

But her boyfriend, Jay, wasn't happy and took the food away before chasing her out of the house. Other Reddit users slammed the woman's actions and called her 'upright' and 'rude' for not asking Jay for permission to feed her dog the special meal he made for her. .

The woman explained, "He made us a roast and vegetables for dinner. I finished my plate before Jay and took it to the kitchen.

"There was about half the roast left and it was almost time for Shelby's dinner, so I took half the roast and some still raw vegetables from the fridge and put them on a plate for Shelby.
