Blake Scott Lewis and Claudia Doumit Reconnect in 'Dylan & Zoey' Trailer
"If we like each other so much, then why did we stop talking?" Gravitas Ventures has released an official trailer for an indie friendship drama titled Dylan & Zoey, marking the directorial debut of filmmaker Matt Sauter. This will be released in November on VOD if anyone wants to watch. Two friends, whose relationship has become strained for unknown reasons, reunite over a night out to bridge the gap that has separated them for so long. While it's easy at first to pick up where they left off, they quickly realize that to truly heal, they must confront the trauma that fractured them. Blake Scott Lewis and Claudia Doumit co-star as the titular Dylan & Zoey. The independent cast includes Kim Hamilton, Malcolm Barrett, Bella Popa, Kyle Jones and Kamahl Naiqui. I really hope that in the end, these two realize that they should be a couple, because they seem really perfect for each other and have to make it a reality. I am for.
Here is the official US trailer for Matt Sauter's movie Dylan & Zoey, straight from YouTube:
In the wake of a bachelorette party, Zoey (Claudia Doumit) has just 24 hours left in LA. She takes a chance and reaches out to her best friend, Dylan (Blake Scott Lewis). Dylan is initially caught off guard, but the two try to pick up where they left off nonetheless. They tease, they laugh, they drink, but they know that there is still something left unsaid between them. During the evening, the two finally open up about their shared traumas and perhaps take the first steps towards a real rapprochement… Dylan & Zoey is directed by American independent filmmaker Matt Sauter, making his directorial debut with this project. The screenplay is written by Blake Scott Lewis and Matt Sauter. Produced by Julie Bersani, Claudia Doumit and Blake Scott Lewis. This hasn't premiered at any festival or anywhere else as far as we know. Gravitas debuts with Dylan & Zoey in select US theaters + on VOD starting November 11, 2022.
