LV= County Championship Division Two, Clean Slate Headingley (Day Three)Glamorgan 245: Labuschagne 65 & 352-Dec 4: Labuschagne 170*, Northeast 64, Root 51*Yorkshire 106: Neser 7-32Yorkshire (3 pts) needs 492 to beat Glamorgan (3 pts)Table edge of the match

Glamorgan ran up 352 for four before declaring just before tea, setting Yorkshire an unlikely target of 492 .

Labuschagne shared stands of 148 with Sam Northeast (66) and 130 with Billy Root (51 not out).

But the rain spared Yorkshire from beginning its battle to survive.

The question for Glamorgan was when to undo its relentless progress and give itself a realistic chance of taking 10 wickets , as the bad weather arrived according to most forecasts.

From day 196 to come, Glamorgan batters have been content to build up quietly for a great part of the first session, with the only semblance of luck coming early as Jordan Thompson's fierce Labuschagne square cut was nearly snuffed out by a diving Finlay Bean.

The acceleration came just before lunch when Northeast slapped a six on Thompson's third man as he reached a red ball 50 for the first time since his 410 not released in Leicester last July.

It took until the 150th over of the match for the spin to appear , and Labuschagne slipped into Dom Bess' second over with three limits on two reverse sweeps and a scoop hit.

The home side tried close-range bowling and funky pitches to unsettle Glamorgan, but Labuschagne just responded with brilliant investigation...
