'Violent Night' First Trailer - David Harbor's Santa Claus Action Comedy

Violent Night

"Santa, are you there? Dad said you were very busy tonight." Universal Pictures has released an official trailer for Violent Night , the Santa Claus action comedy from Norwegian genre filmmaker Tommy Wirkola. Bring it on!! I was waiting to see this trailer. It almost feels a bit like Die Hard, but taking the "Ho ho ho" part of that movie and making it the actual plot - what if the real Santa fought back. When a group of mercenaries attack the property of a wealthy family, Santa Claus must step in to save the day (and Christmas). David Harbor (of "Stranger Things" and Hellboy) stars as Santa Claus, and also features Emmy winner John Leguizamo, Cam Gigandet, Alex Hassell, Alexis Louder, Edi Patterson and Beverly D'Angelo. Oh damn yes, that looks awesome!! I love the twist on the concept with Santa using his "magic" of his naughty and nice list and his gift bag and all. I can't wait to watch it!! It's time for the beats of the season. Hahaha.
