Ghislaine Maxwell "did a Shawshank Redemption" when she was given a comfortable job in her prison library helping inmates.

The disgraced British socialite works in the low-security FCI Tallahassee legal department in Florida - walking straight into the job to the fury of other stragglers.

When not socializing in her unit, the convicted teenage sex trafficker can be found behind a desk handing out court forms.

Maxwell, 60, was given a favored role by prison bosses, working weekdays in her outfit of matching khaki pants and shirt.

A source said, "A lot of girls were p***** the way she showed up and got such a boring job.

"They joke that she did a Shawshank Redemption and landed on her feet with her gig at the library.
