Justin Bieber postpones all 'Justice' tour dates to next year

Following the cancellation of his tour dates in South America, South Africa and Asia, Justin Bieber has postponed everything from his remaining "Justice" world tour dates to an indefinite date "next year." The announcement, which was made via the tour's official Instagram page, states that "ticket holders will be notified of next steps as updates are made".

The tour, which was originally scheduled to launch in 2020, has already been postponed or delayed multiple times, more recently due to his battle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a rare virus which, in his case, caused facial paralysis. It finally launched in March and covered most of North America, but moved the remaining dates to early June after announcing its struggles with the disease.

He resumed the tour in August, but after several dates he announced the 6th September that he needed to take a break from performing "to make my health the priority right now".

The tour was scheduled to resume on October 22 in Malaysia, continue through East Asia, Australia and New Zealand before resuming in Europe in January and continuing until the end of March. The postponed North American dates have also not been officially canceled.

Despite Bieber's previous announcement about his health, fans of the rescheduled dates, who cannot receive refund before the shows are officially canceled, were unhappy with the announcements, judging by the comments on the post.

"Just cancel the rest of the tour at this point and refund everyone, I can't even don't remember how long i've been buying tickets, it's been so LONG!" one wrote.

In announcing the postponements last month, Bieber wrote, "Earlier this year, I publicized my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralyzed.

"Due to this illness, I was unable to complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour. After resting and consulting with doctors, family and the team, I went to Europe with the aim of continuing the tour.

"I played six concerts, but it really cost me a lot. Last weekend I played Rock in Rio and gave the Brazilians everything I had. After coming off stage, exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I had to make my health a priority right now. So I'm going to take a break from my tours for the time being.

"I'll be fine, but I need time to rest and get better." I was so proud to bring this show and our message of justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout this exclamation mark, I love you all passionately!"

The announcement comes as a surprise, as Bieber was posting photos of his Rock in Rio festival appearance on Instagram the day before.
