Brian Rose, the Real Party of London candidate for London mayor, has criticized Labor and Conservative candidates for their obsession with policy attacks over substance.

MrRose is a banker-turned-broadcaster who has already run in the 2021 election, placing seventh with 31,111 votes.

He was responding to the dispute between outgoing Mr Khan and the Tory's Susan Hall over alleged plans to charge London drivers by the mile.

The Real Party candidate of London said: "This is a good, depressing example of politicians obsessed with policy rather than people. There is a huge debate to be had about how to fund investment in our capital's transport infrastructure, while keeping the air clean.

"Yet Khan and Hall got bogged down in a meaningless back-and-forth over when and where Khan claimed he was considering a pay-per-mile approach to London motorists.

" Meanwhile, in the real world, drivers are being treated dry by Khan, TfL remains a case study in how not to fund transport, and London's main roads remain congested and polluted because of Khan's obsession with low-traffic neighborhoods. meaningless blow for blow' (Solent News & Photo Agency)

The former Wall Street banker added that he thinks London needs a leader who behaves like a CEO rather than like a mayor. He says the city should be run like a business.

“On May 2, Londoners have the chance to vote for change – and break the depressing pattern of our city being ruled by narcissists politicians and their acolytes. We really need to change our tune and try new moves,” he added.

On housing, Mr Rose said he would build 50,000 homes this year, while Mr Khan pledged to build 40,000 new social homes by the end of the decade.

“Our capital badly needs new leadership, with a new approach,” he said.

"My plans to use modular construction technology, build on TfL land within walking distance of transport hubs and set up a new business-focused partnership to help me to fund my projects can bring real change to London's crumbling housing sector – and 50,000 more homes this year”
