CDA ratifies expulsion of party's presidential candidate in Kaduna

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) on Thursday ratified the expulsion of its presidential candidate, Dumebi Kachikwu, and his running mate, Ahmed Rufai, from the party.

Other party members expelled were BoT Chairman, Senator Patricia Akwashiki, National Vice President of the Northeast, other state presidents and party leaders.

However, at a special national convention, held at the Ahmadu Bello University Conference Hotel in Zaria, Kaduna State, their expulsion was ratified, while the officers nationals whose term expired were replaced by the election of new national officers by affirmation. .

Ralph Okey Nwosu was re-elected as CDA National President, while Said became Secretary and Ms. Kyauta, Women's Leader among other executives for another four-year term.
