BATISHE medical assistance, relief for displaced persons in Borno
Many people in Maiduguri, Borno State can now access free medical care backed by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the official APC presidential candidate.
The outreach is planned to provide standardized primary health care services to over five thousand (10,000) residents of Borno State (including IDPs) by adopting global standards and best practices. Participants would benefit from free medical screening and medication, free eye exams and prescription glasses, free dental services, free prenatal and maternal delivery screening kits, and other services.
>This is to take place from Tuesday 13 to Wednesday 14 December.
Location: Umarari Primary School, Bolori 2, Maiduguri, Borno State.
Additionally, eye surgeries are taking place on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Umar Shehu General Hospital
In addition to the above, more than 5,000 relief items will also be distributed to displaced people to give back to society.
Surgeons, nurses and medical professionals were on hand to provide free services to members of the public who needed them. Beneficiaries were allowed a taste of the future of healthcare, which is one of the main tenets of BAT's manifesto. This included free medical screening, free medical consultation, public health education, counseling, free provision of medicines and other free complementary supplies.
