EPL: I don't think they're serious: Danny Murphy names only club to win title this season

Former Premier League star Danny Murphy says he doesn't think Arsenal are serious contenders for the Premier League title

This despite the Gunners having won eight of the nine league games they have played so far this season and remaining top of the table.

Murphy has pointed out that Arsenal lack the strength of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, who are currently second in the table.

"It looks like at the moment [they are Manchester City's main rivals for the Premier League title]," Murphy said on Sky Sports.

"I don't see them seriously challenging. The main reason is simply that they can't keep their best XI in shape all season.

"City don't have to because they have so much quality. If two or three Arsenal players drop out of the squad, they don't have the same strength."
