FA Cup: Arsenal take on Man City in fourth round

Arsenal FC face Manchester City in the FA Cup fourth round after beating Oxford United 3-0 on Monday night, overcoming a slow start to pull away in the final 30 minutes.

The EPL leading team facilitated by Oxford United in the FA Cup third round, the Ligue 1 side managed to stifle the attack of their Premier League opponents in first half, as neither team recorded a shot on target.

But the visitors were better in the second half, breaking through in the 63rd minute as Mohamed Elneny netted a Fabio Vieira cross.

Vieira would get another assist seven minutes later, playing into Eddie Nketiah who coldly took the ball around Edward McGinty and slotted it into an empty net.

Nketiah doubled his score just six minutes later, collecting a fine pass from Gabriel Martinelli and dumping it on the Oxford keeper.

Bukayo Saka hobbled in the 75th minute, a worrying sight for Arsenal fans with the North London derby coming up on Sunday. He was replaced by Emile Smith Rowe, who made his first appearance since September 4 returning from his own injury.
