FG wishes Vice President Osinbajo a speedy recovery — Boss Mustapha

The Federal Government wished Vice President Yemi Osinbajo a speedy recovery after successful surgery for a fractured right femur (thigh bone).

The FG, through the Federal Executive Council, conveyed its message of goodwill in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, on Sunday in Abuja.

Mr. Mustapha said the surgery, possibly related to a long-standing injury associated with the game of squash, was performed by a team of medical specialists in Lagos.

He added that the operation had been reported as successful.

“As Professor Osinbajo recovers from the surgery, the FEC wishes him a speedy recovery in order to continue to provide the necessary support for the overall growth and stability of the country,” said Mr. Mustapha.
