James Corden quit his late-night American talk show after eight years, with the help of Harry Styles, Will Ferrell and President Joe Biden.

Ferrell and Styles destroyed the Late Late Show host's office, while Biden sent a video joking that he was "surprised you lasted eight years in any job".

The UK host's farewell mixed laughs and a heartfelt message.

By signature, he urged American viewers not to give in to people who are "trying to stir up differences" in the country.
