Police dismiss murder charge against House Majority Leader Ado Doguwa
Kano Police have charged House Majority Leader Ado Doguwa with murder for allegedly killing three people.
State police spokesman Abdullahi Kiyawa said the lawmaker was arrested and arraigned following an incident that led to the killings.
The lawmaker was allegedly involved in a violent confrontation between members of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) which resulted in the deaths of three people and the burning of a campaign office of the opposition party. in Tudun Wada Local Government Area in Kano.
