A gorilla lost his head, an American YouTuber risked death and a German fought his way to victory today - in what could not be as Gloucestershire's historic annual cheese rolling event. Hundreds of daredevil competitors took on the iconic Cooper's race today Hill.

The men's race was won by German Tom Kopke, who told the BBC that he was "excited" and would would be back next year to defend his title.
