A plus-size influencer has sparked a fierce debate on social media after she insisted that people taller kids shouldn't be afraid to ask for a seatbelt extender on an airplane.
Samyra Miller, from New Orleans, posted a 15-second clip on TikTok that shows her asking a member of the cabin crew.
But the 24-year-old's video has proven incendiary on social media as people on both sides of the debate are rushed to comment.
After seeing the discussion erupt below her video, Samyra posted a follow-up in which she said the negative comments were not only "slime attempts to strip me of my humanity".
