Rishi Sunak dodged a question about how he might serve in a Liz Truss cabinet after calling his tax cut plans 'immoral' in heated exchanges during the leadership race Tories.

With just three weeks until the vote at the end of the contest, the former Chancellor also rejected Ms Truss' huge lead in the polls, saying he would fight for every vote" until the last day of the campaign.

It comes after Mr Sunak told a Tory event this week he would take any position on his rival's top team if the minister of Foreign Affairs was winning the race to succeed Boris Johnson at No 10.
