He said, "For me, more than 100%, more like 1001%, because I set myself a standard, the kind of life I want to live, and even when things weren't going so well for I continued to believe, to dream, to pray and to work hard, to do all kinds of jobs before returning to my true love, football.

"To get to where I am now, there have been many challenges along the way. There is a lot of affection, but also a lot of hate. I attribute a lot of love, pain, tears and failures to my success.

"A lot of people thought that I wouldn't survive two years and that I couldn't make it.

"You can either accept what they said as true or you can show them they are completely wrong. God is so good that I was able to disprove them.

"I am currently playing for one of the best clubs in Europe, I have won many personal awards, all of which I consider to be major achievements for me as I have faced many potentially deadly before bouncing back and I'm doing fine.
