The Halloween mirror provides a great scare

Jump scares are controversial in the world of horror, whether it's movies or video games. You can also bring that same irritating thrill to real life with this Halloween mirror from [jasonwinfieldnz].

During the day, or just when it's bright inside, the mirror appears normal, just like any other. However, behind the special two-way mirror glass surface is a spooky 3D print, like a skull or an annoying yellow cartoon character. When the light level goes low, everything changes. A light-dependent resistor connected to a Digispark senses the change, then fires 5V LEDs to illuminate the scary image, revealing it behind the mirror. Even better, it plays a loud screaming sound using a DFplayer MP3 module.

We would also like to see the concept taken even further. It would be something if, when a passerby approached, the lights in the room suddenly went out and the mirror activated in all its glory.
